Shelby and Mark's Bybee Farms Wedding

I've been to some ridiculously fun weddings, but I think Shelby and Marks's takes the cake! After all, it's not everyday that a bride and a groom do a keg stand at the end of their wedding! Their wedding was so much more then that, they're the nicest and sweetest couple. All of their friends and family exemplify just who they are. I couldn't be more thrilled to be a part of their day.

I always feel so honored when asked to capture someone's wedding. it's not just that a couple trusts me to photograph them, but they trust me to help create memories that they can share for decades.

As always, thank you to all the other vendors that helped bring Shelby and Mark's wedding together! Bybee Farms,  Florist in the Foothills, Woodshop BBQ, Brian James (the best ceremony musician ever!), Chromatique Salon, and Shalonda Pequero Makeup.

Derek and Kyler's Orcas Island Wedding

That's right, I was on Orcas Island for 2 weddings this year! This place is a goldmine for photos, every inch of forest and coastline has so many possibilities! But that's enough about my love of landscapes and scenery, there's more important things to talk about. Like Derek and Kyler, they have some of the best friends and family that I've ever come across while photographing a wedding. I am not exaggerating, out of the 150 ish (who even knows how many weddings I've photographed), their wedding had hands down the most beautiful and thoughtful toast I have ever heard. I think that's a testament to how much love Derek and Kyler have for each other but also how they have impacted the lives of the people around them.

Thank you both for inviting me to be a part of your day! Also, thank you to everyone who helped bring their day together and Bayside Cottages for hosting.

Edgewater Hotel Wedding with Larisa and Matt

The Edgewater Hotel in downtown Seattle has to be one of my favorite wedding venues in the entire city! I love the incredible views across the Puget Sound, and of course the gorgeous surroundings with the Olympic Sculpture Garden and Myrtle Edwards Park within a few minutes walk. It certainly doesn't hurt that their ceremony and reception space is nothing but windows, it all makes photographing a wedding such a breeze!

Larisa and Matt's wedding was no exception, we had the best team of vendors and one hell of a beautiful day. Thank you to Kat Thomas with Wishes! Wedding Coordination, Lana at Seattle Floral Design, Craig Lawrence Band, Delicately Sweet Confections, Bridal Beauty Agency, and of course Cassie at The Edgewater Hotel.

River Roast, Chicago Wedding with Mary Pat and Calen

The best weddings are the ones filled with love and tons of laughter! I don't think Mary Pat and Calen stopped smiling all day. What I do know is how happy I am to share their gallery with everyone. I was thrilled when Mary Pat and Calen asked me to photograph their wedding. First I flew out to Colorado for their absolutely incredible engagement session, then they brought me back to Chicago to capture their wedding day. As much as I love the mountains, I'm equally obsessed with city views and architecture.

We did get one huge surprise when we arrived at the reception. It turns out it was the season opening of the Chicago Riverwalk! To celebrate Chicago rigged the bridges immediately surrounding River Roast with fireworks! Of course we grabbed some photos before the reception kicked off, just check it out below!

A special thank you to Emmalee Luckas for being such an amazing second shooter!
