Shelby and Mark's Bybee Farms Wedding

I've been to some ridiculously fun weddings, but I think Shelby and Marks's takes the cake! After all, it's not everyday that a bride and a groom do a keg stand at the end of their wedding! Their wedding was so much more then that, they're the nicest and sweetest couple. All of their friends and family exemplify just who they are. I couldn't be more thrilled to be a part of their day.

I always feel so honored when asked to capture someone's wedding. it's not just that a couple trusts me to photograph them, but they trust me to help create memories that they can share for decades.

As always, thank you to all the other vendors that helped bring Shelby and Mark's wedding together! Bybee Farms,  Florist in the Foothills, Woodshop BBQ, Brian James (the best ceremony musician ever!), Chromatique Salon, and Shalonda Pequero Makeup.

Destination Wedding - Puerto Vallarta

I say this all the time, I need to blog more! I've had so many incredible weddings this year, but it's harder and harder to find the time to actually post them. Ever since we moved to Seattle all my spare time is spent hiking all over the Pacific Northwest and on DIY projects on our new house. Not that I'm complaining, I absolutely love it! But seriously these weddings were so much fun and I'm dying to show them off. Hopefully I can sit still long enough to get more of these published.

Enough rambling, you have to check out Dulce and Tom's wedding from Puerto Vallarta, Mexico! Well that's where we stayed for the week, but the ceremony and reception were an hour boat ride away on the secluded Caletas Beach. This wedding has everything! White sand beaches, fire dancers, scuba diving, and tons of love and laughter.

The Wedding Day

Day After

Ally & John - Madison, WI Wedding

Sometimes I get these crazy ideas for what we can do for The Last Shot on a wedding night. Well it just so happened that Ally and John's wedding up in Madison, WI coincided with a new moon, a great view of The Milky Way, and there was even potential for a meteor shower! As soon as I realized all of this I called Ally and John. I told them that if we drove far enough away from Madison, we could get one hell of a photo. They loved the idea, so as soon as Emmalee (my crazy great assistant) and I got into town we started the hunt for the perfect road with just the right view. It took us about 12 hours, but we found it!!
